RUKIRA is a small washing station, comprised of over 500 members delivering coffee cherry to the mill. This 'factory' is aligned with Othaya Farmer's Cooperative Society.
 
This traditional "double washed" coffee is classically Kenyan with beautiful notes of light spices (think ginger and mulled spices), accented by bright notes of dried cranberries and citrus fruits, with a high-tone acidity, reminiscent of grapefruit rinds, and a syrupy mouthfeel.
