IN 2023, 96B introduced our first coffee with TN varieties from Dien Bien province. This year, Lam Dong’s TN makes the cut. TN refers to a mixed lot, consisting of various hybrid selections. The most common varieties are TN1 and TN2, themselves hybrids of Ethiopian Arabica and Portuguese Catimor parents, bred in Vietnam in 1991 and 1993. These hybrids represent Vietnam’s on-going quest for resilient and high quality Arabica varieties.
